Simulation explains the insane amount of money the richest people in the world actually have

The likes of Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos and Taylor Swift are worth billions

A simulation has revealed just how much money the richest people in the world actually have.

The likes of Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos and Taylor Swift are sitting on some serious wealth.

While the richest people on the planet are worth billions of dollars, it's quite hard to understand just how rich that is, and how much money they really have.

Simplifying it for us, Zack D. Films has put together a handy simulation to help demonstrate just how rich the richest are.

But first, who are the wealthiest people on the planet? And how much are they worth?

Of course, it was going to be tech billionaire Elon Musk at the top of the list, with a net work of $342 billion.

In second place, with a net worth of $216 billion, is Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, who has steadily grown his empire over the years and acquired a number of other sites.

Then there's Amazon founder Jeff Bezos who has a net worth of $215 billion.

In the simulation, Zack compared dollars to grains of rice.

He said that if one grain of rice equates to one dollar, then the average US home would cost around 500,000 grains of rice.

"Now, if you filled an entire shipping container with rice it would be the same as Taylor Swift's net worth," he said.

"Next to that, Marck Zuckerberg's pile would be enough to fill three Olympic-sized swimming pools to the top.

"The US national debt would be enough to fill up the Empire State Building, with some to spare, and it's still growing every day."

Taylor Swift has a net worth of $1.6 billion and according to Forbes, is the wealthiest female musician.

Thanks to the earnings from her worldwide Eras Tour and the value of her music catalogue, Swift achieved billionaire status by the age of 33, according to Forbes.

Around $600 million of which is believed to have been accumulated through royalties and touring, while she also has about $125 million in real estate.

Swift also used to have the claim to fame of being the world's youngest self-made female billionaire.

However, tech tycoon Lucy Guo has now taken the title, having become a billionaire three years faster than Swift, Forbes has reported.

The 30-year-old is the co-founder of Scale AI, a California-based data annotation company, which provides labelled data used to train artificial intelligence applications.
