Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas quietly sold their luxurious £12 million mansion before announcing divorce

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas quietly sold their luxurious £12 million mansion before announcing divorce

The property was listed back in late 2022, but the news has only come to light after Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas announced their divorce.

It’s been revealed that Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas quietly sold their Miami mansion before announcing their divorce.

The Hollywood power couple announced their divorce today after almost four years of marriage.

It has since emerged that Turner and Jonas discreetly listed their luxurious Miami pad in December 2022, with the palatial property valued at a staggering $12 million ($15m).

The property was sold earlier this year, the Wall Street Journal reports.

While breaking up is never easy, it must have been made even harder given that the home came with six bedrooms, nine bathrooms and two pools.

The couple first bought the property back in 2021, with the mansion decked in a seventies-inspired interior with a tropical twist.

If you're wondering what that looks like, think brightly coloured velvet sofas, an insane amount of house plants and print wallpaper.

While their interior design might not be to everyone’s taste, the Miami mansion came with a huge amount of amenities.

Not only was there a large outdoor pool, but there was also a smaller kids pool which was perfect for Jonas and Turner’s two toddlers.

The palatial pad also had state of a state-of-the-art spa, Jacuzzi, a bar and a games room for the ultimate chilled-out house.

If that weren't impressive enough, the Bay Point property came with six six-bedroom, nine-bathroom and 94-foot private dock with direct access to the ocean.

Situated in an exclusive gated community, the incredible home was initially put on the market for £15 million before selling for £12m.

While fans might be excited to get an insight into Turner and Jonas’ old home, the news comes after the couple's official divorce announcement.

There had been intense speculation about the Game of Thrones actor and the musician's relationship over the weekend – with outlets reporting that Jonas had filed for divorce.

However, the couple revealed they’ve called it quits in a joint statement on their social media accounts.

The pair shared a joint Instagram statement confirming their divorce.

It read: "Statement from the two of us: After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage.”

"There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children."

According to TMZ, Jonas filed for divorce at Miami Dade County Court on Tuesday (September 5).

In his petition for divorce, the document said that 'the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken'.

It also states that while their children have been living with Joe in Miami and other places most recently, 'it is in the best interests of the minor children that the parties have shared parental responsibility'.
