What is Chris Kamara’s net worth?

Sky Sports personality Chris Kamara revealed that he feels “like a fraud” after opening up about his battle with Speech Apraxia.

After featuring on an episode of Dragon Den star, Steven Bartlett’s podcast, Kamara told viewers that Speech Apraxia meant that speaking is very difficult, and it feels as though someone has taken over his voice box.

He told Diary of a CEO viewers he sometimes watches back old clips of him presenting and it’s like watching someone else, he said: “it’s very strange.”

According to the NHS, Speech Apraxia makes it difficult to get the jaw, lips and tongue to move in the way required to form words, even though the person knows what they would like to say.

The football pundit announced his condition in March before taking a break from broadcasting altogether.

Kamara, who is also an ex professional footballer, left Sky earlier this year after an incredible 24 year-long career with the broadcasting company.

He became a legend in football punditry, and had a plethora of hilarious moments which made football TV for many fans.

So what is his net worth in 2022? Let’s take a look…

What is Chris Kamara’s net worth?

It is estimated that Chris Kamara has a net worth in the region of $20 million.

Despite leaving his broadcast role at Sky Sports, ‘Kammy’ has recently started a new podcast with presenter and co-host Ben Sheppard called Proper Football.

He currently presents Ninja Warrior UK with Sheppard and Rochelle Humes.

He shared with Bartlett in the tell-all podcast that he is well aware of his altered speech, and that he feels like a fraud from time to time.

He said: “Strange in terms of, I feel a fraud now in terms of broadcasting; I don’t bring to the table what I used to."

I feel I’m doing these programmes and they’re not getting the best of me, but they’re tolerating me, that’s how it feels.”
