Film buffs, look out! In a groundbreaking move that could make even the most seasoned cinephile swoon, one company is rolling out the red carpet for a unique job opportunity that will turn your love for business and blockbuster films into a dream profession.

They’re looking to pay someone €50 to watch blockbuster films "The Wolf of Wall Street" with Leonardo DiCaprio, or “The Big Short,” or even the film about Facebook "The Social Network". DesignRush, a business-to-business marketplace, is looking to hire a “Chief Business Film Analyst” to analyse business films and identify consumer trends and insights. The successful candidate will get the chance to take learnings from movies and apply them to the real world of business! The next generation of graduates could be working in companies inspired by Hollywood’s best films of all time.

If you have business experience and are a movie-lover, this could be the perfect mix of your passions, with DesignRush explaining the role gives you the chance to “dissect, discuss, and debate the portrayal of business in some of the most iconic films of our time.”

The company is looking for someone with a passion for movies and a love for business, who is able to dissect business scenarios in movies and apply their insights to the real business world.

You’ll be paid a mouth-watering €50 per hour to watch The Big Short, and be inspired by Michael Burry (played by Christian Bale) as he predicts the 2007 Housing Market Crisis. While Michael Burry made billions from betting against the stock market in real life, the film shows its audience how he made the predictions.

But this job isn’t just about entertainment, it’s about serious market research! The job offers more than just a 9-to-5, it’s a chance to unravel the business settings of famous films. You won’t just watch, you’ll analyse and contribute everything you’ve learned from the fascinating lives of real business-people!

“This is a great opportunity for you to combine your passion for films with your business and investigative skills,” DesignRush’s General Manager, Gianluca Ferrugia, said, “We are offering one lucky candidate the chance to get paid to watch their favourite corporate films and critique them.”

So, if you’ve ever dreamed of being the next big movie critic but you also want a job in business, now’s your chance to blend them both together!
