Elon Musk has faced backlash for leaking what some are calling the 'most disturbing film ever' that’s reportedly banned in Germany.
Citizen Vigilante, according to the synopsis, follows an American businessman in Europe 'who targets violent criminals, rapists and corrupt judges'.
Led by German filmmaker Uwe Boll, the film has been heavily criticised and banned in Germany due to scenes of extreme violence and anti-migrant themes.
It also stars Armie Hammer, who was accused of rape and physical abuse in 2017, with leaked text messages claiming that he was ‘100 percent a cannibal’.

“I cast Armie Hammer in the lead because he’s a great actor, and also because he was cancelled and wanted to work,” Boll explained to the Daily Telegraph.
“He wasn’t charged with anything, there was no lawsuit. He was just a guy who was famous and f**k around.

“He’s a handsome, charismatic guy, who could be James Bond. In fact, he’d be perfect for the part.”
On why Citizen Vigilante was banned in Germany, Boll said he ‘was told that the film was inciting violence against migrants’.
Although Citizen Vigilante currently has a 94 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes, critics have accused it of inciting racism.

Musk shared the full movie to his X account for 48 hours to more than 240 million followers and one person said on Reddit that ‘I don’t think this should be downplayed’.
“Elon Musk is not just anyone. He’s the richest man in the world and he has a lot of power whether we like it or not. He’s fanning the flames of xenophobia and racism and he has more than a flock of fanboys who eat his s**t up like they get paid to do it. It’s scary,” they wrote.
“He is trying to do what he can to inflame division and cause chaos,” another said.

While a third penned: “I don’t have a witty way to wording this but it’s a movie fear mongering about immigrants being violent. Armie's character plays as a violent immigrant and that’s completely missed by the chuds that enjoy this movie. I guess his skin colour is white so that makes it ok?”
It comes after Musk was accused of twice making a salute interpreted by many as a Nazi or a fascist Roman salute during Donald Trump's second inauguration.
The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) came to Musk's defence, stating in an X post: "It seems that Elon Musk made an awkward gesture in a moment of enthusiasm, not a Nazi salute."
