Bam Margera is doing 'really well' according to his parents.
Jackass is back for a new film, with Best and Last premiering in cinemas today (26 June), seeing stars Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius and the rest of the crew back together for one last film.
However, the film has a rather noticeable Bam-sized hole, as this is the first movie in the Jackass film series not to have any new material featuring the 46-year-old.
Fans of the franchise will remember that Margera was fired from Jackass Forever after breaching a ‘wellness agreement’ in his contract, featuring in just one of the 2022 film's sketches.

The former skateboarder doesn't return for any new stunts in Best and Last either, with all of his appearances being through archival footage, and was not present at the film's premiere, which was instead attended by his parents.

Phil and April Margera were in high spirits while walking the carpet at the Los Angeles premiere, stopping for a chat with Entertainment Tonight about their son.
"He's fantastic," Phil said when asked about his son's health. "I'm knocking on wood every day, but he's fantastic."
"He's actually doing really, really well," April added.
Margera's struggles with alcoholism have been covered extensively over the years, with the stunt performer entering rehab numerous times throughout his career.
After numerous inpatient stints, Margera appears to be sober as of 2026, with a recent Instagram post seeing the Viva La Bam star reveal that he'd been sober for two years.
The Margeras also touched on the decision for their son to be included in Best and Last through the use of archival footage, and whether or not he considered returning.

Revealing that Margera had considered a return but ultimately decided against it, April said: "I think he really thought that maybe he could, but it was just kind of extra hard when Ryan [Dunn] passed away.
"I think he was just ready to turn a new chapter for his health," she continued.
"He found his way and I'm happy about that."
They were also asked about where Margera stands with his former cast members, with Phil alluding to the fact that his son would be open to making up with his co-stars.
Although he didn't name anyone, Margera's relationship with Johnny Knoxville, Spike Jonze and Jeff Tremaine became strained in 2022, suggesting that Phil was alluding to his relationship with at least one of the men, saying that his son wants to 'make up with him'.
"I guarantee you they're going to make up and they're going to be awesome together, he added.
Knoxville also shared an emotional reunion with Phil and April at the premiere, with the 55-year-old appearing visibly emotional upon seeing the couple again.
"I got a little choked up," Knoxville told Entertainment Tonight. "So happy to see them. You know? After all we’ve been through, and I’m just so happy they’re here.
"I’m so happy they’re here. I love them. I love Bam and Jess. The whole family."
