Fans of the upcoming GTA 6 game had a bone thrown their way on today's (21 May) Take-Two earnings call where it was confirmed that the release date isn't going to be delayed again.
We've waited a long darn time for the next instalment in the Grand Theft Auto series, especially because GTA 6 has been delayed for a while, but the current release date of 19 November this year is still in place.
While more concrete information about the game is likely to release later on this year, the game did get a mention on the earnings call for Take-Two Interactive, which owns GTA makers Rockstar Games.
On the call Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick said GTA 6 was 'arguably the most anticipated entertainment property of all time', and that more marketing for the game would be coming in the summer.

He also predicted 2027 was going to be a big financial year for them, and on the call it was mentioned that GTA 6 was still coming on 19 November, so Grand Theft Auto fans who feared it might be delayed again can rejoice.

We've had to put up with the pain of GTA 6 being put back more than once, as it had originally been set to release in late 2025 before being put back to 26 May, 2026, and punted back again later to 19 November this year.
As much as people are hyped for the eventual release of GTA 6, it's best to wait for the official stuff as some gamers have been scammed by people putting up fake pre-sales for the game.
YouTuber Inkslasher warned that third-party sellers were trying to scam eager GTA fans out of their cash.
They said: "If you see any third-party retailers as of right now selling pre-orders, they are fake.
"Without it being live on PlayStation, Xbox, Best Buy, Walmart, places along those lines, these third-party retailers do not have a way to buy the games, get pre-orders, or even know what is in the collector's editions."
As reported by GAMINGbible last year, a bogus GTA 6 pre-order went live on Amazon, with the retailer taking the scam listing down once they were aware of it.
People getting hyped is understandable considering the critical acclaim past Grand Theft Auto games have earned, and because what we have seen of GTA 6 looks pretty damn good.
What would really scratch the itch for GTA 6 is a bit more of a look at what Rockstar have been working on.
There's been a few theories going round that we're due another trailer soon and it would be very good to have a look at what else Rockstar can show us.
Obviously major plot details will stay under wraps but it couldn't hurt to tease us with a little bit more of what there is to play, could it?
Grand Theft Auto 6 is scheduled to release on 19 November, 2026.
