Leonardo DiCaprio was taught how to snort cocaine off an 'a**hole' by Ethan Suplee

Leonardo DiCaprio was taught how to snort cocaine off an 'a**hole' by Ethan Suplee

The veteran Wolf of Wall Street actor and recovering addict was able to help DiCaprio with one particular scene

The authentic way Leonardo DiCaprio's The Wolf of Wall Street character managed to snort cocaine off a woman's 'a**hole' was all thanks to helpful co-star Ethan Suplee.

They both starred in Martin Scorsese's 2013 smash hit where DiCaprio portrayed the life of former stockbroker Jordan Belfort.

So it turns out that the former My Name Is Earl star was a recovering addict who has been clean for nearly two decades.

In a 2021 interview with Michael Rosenbaum, Suplee explained how he used his experience to help crew members with the mechanics of snorting cocaine off someone's bottom.

Suplee said: "[Working on the movie] was awesome. It was a lot of fun.

"The only funny weird story was, we were filming two different things and me and the rest of the guys, the brokers, were kind of off on a break and then I got a call like, 'You're needed on that closed set.' Like, nobody's allowed on this set.

"I was like, 'I'm needed? What am I needed for?'

"And they were like, 'You just have to go in there,' and I went in and somebody was like, 'We can't figure out how to do cocaine up an a**hole. Can you help us? We heard you could help us with this.'

"I was like, 'I'll do my best!'".

The movie contains 16 scenes which include alcohol, drugs and smoking.

After Suplee explained the gory details, the host asked: "So you helped them?"

Suplee replied: "I helped them, but I'm just saying, I was the guy called. I was the guy on set, like, 'Who can help us? Ethan knows.'"

Rosenbaum said: "That's when you should have known, 'I gotta get my s*** together.' That's rock bottom."

The actor then revealed: "I'd been sober at this point for almost ten years but some of the people had known me prior and were like, 'He knows how to do this, get him.'"

Staying on the theme of The Wolf of Wall Street and buttholes - co-star Margot Robbie, who plays Belfort's second wife Naomi, has shared the embarrassing moment where Leonardo DiCaprio's e-cigarette got stuck in her butt crack.

Recalling the crazy sex scene, Robbie told The Talk in 2015 that she was unsure if the Titanic actor wanted her to share the story - so she did it anyway.

"I don’t know if he wants me telling this story, but we’d just finished this scene and Leo always carries an e-cigarette with him, like all the time," she explained.

"So he hid it under a pillow while we were shooting.

"Afterwards … he’s like, ‘Where is it? Where did I put it? I had it right here’.

"I was looking around with him – both still sitting in this bed – and then I went, ‘Oh, um, it’s literally, like, in my butt crack. I’m sitting on it. I am so sorry’.

"He probably threw it away. It was so embarrassing.

"So yeah, sex scenes are super sexy."
