All of Liam Payne's money will reportedly go to his nine-year-old son Bear, with the boy's mother Cheryl Tweedy in charge of the singer's estate.
In 2024 Payne tragically died from a fall from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with emergency services saying he suffered 'severe injuries which were incompatible with life'.
An inquest at Buckinghamshire Coroner’s Court later described his death as 'polytrauma'.
A great many tributes were paid to Payne's memory, including from his former One Direction bandmates, and his ex-partner Cheryl who in 2017 had given birth to their child Bear.

It was later announced that she had been given power over his estate since Payne died without a will and was declared 'intestate', and according to the Daily Mail she is set to put Payne's money in a trust for Bear so it all goes to him.

Court documents indicated that when he died at the age of 31, Payne left behind an estate with a gross value of £28,594,88, but after debts and expenses were paid Letters of Administration indicated it had ended up with a total of £24,279,728.
Cheryl and Payne's legal representative Richard Mark Bray are the administrators of Payne's estate so managing the trust for Bear and any of Payne's remaining properties is up to them.
According to UK law if someone dies without a will and leaves behind an estate worth over £322,00 then it will be divided between the spouse, civil partner and children of whomever has passed away.
Since Payne had no spouse or civil partner then his £24.3 million fortune is set to go to his son.
Following Payne's death Cheryl had released a statement paying tribute to his memory and criticising some of the coverage of Liam's death since their son could one day see them and she 'cannot protect him from that'.

"As I try to navigate this earth shattering event, I’d like to kindly remind everyone that we have lost a human being," she had written.
"Liam was not only a pop star and celebrity, he was a son, a brother, an uncle, a dear friend and a father to our 7-year-old son. A son that now has to face the reality of never seeing his father again.
"What is troubling my spirit the most is that one day Bear will have access to the abhorrent reports and media exploitation we have seen in the past two days. It is breaking my heart further that I cannot protect him from that in his future.
"I am begging you to consider what use some of these reports are serving, other than to cause further harm to everyone left behind picking up the pieces. Before you leave comments or make videos, ask yourself if you would like your own child or family to rad them.
"Please give Liam the little dignity he has left in the wake of his death to rest in some peace at last. Thank you, Cheryl."
