Logan Paul wants to fight Tommy Fury to get revenge for brother's loss

Logan Paul wants to fight Tommy Fury to get revenge for brother's loss

Jake Paul lost out on a points decision in his highly anticipated matchup with Tommy Fury

Logan Paul wants revenge on Tommy Fury after getting the W against his previously undefeated younger brother, Jake Paul.

I think the debate on whether YouTube boxing should be happening or not is long gone after Jake Paul's match-up with Tommy Fury proved that the masses really do care about who comes out on top.

The long-standing feud finally reached its conclusion on Sunday evening (26 February) as the Manchester-born boxer did just about enough to win via the judges’ cards in Saudi Arabia.

Tommy ended Jake's perfect 6-0 record after his win by a split decision.

The former Love Island star - who is 9-0 up on his professional record - will also earn a place in the WBC cruiserweight rankings as a result.

Older brother Logan, who's also made a career through YouTube, is certainly rattled by Jake's loss and has now made it clear he wants to get revenge against Tommy.

If there is no rematch on the cards, the WWE star says he wants to 'handle' the situation.

"If you don't [have a rematch], I'd like to handle that ... That was like my first instinct, obviously," Logan told his brother on the BS W/ Jake Paul podcast.

Pamela Stepnick, the Paul brothers' mom, added: "I think what you said was, 'I'm going to kill that kid'."

Logan then replied: "Yeah that's what I said. He's my little brother. F**k that. Inflatable arm ass, motherf***er. F**k."

Despite losing on the day, Jake congratulated his opponent and was surprisingly humble in his response.

The 26-year-old said: “I felt flat, I got sick twice in this camp and injured my arm. It wasn’t my best performance, but I’m not making excuses and I’ll come back stronger.

“All respect to Tommy – he won. I deserve a rematch, I don’t know if I agree with the judges. I’ve already won in life – I have an amazing family, amazing friends and I’ve made it further than I ever thought I would.”

With a potential rematch on the cards, Tommy added: “This was my first main event. I’m only going to go stronger and bigger. If Jake wants a rematch then bring it on.

"Jake Paul was a proper warrior. He took some good shots and he’s far better than I thought he was.”

Tommy also dedicated his win to girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague and their newborn daughter, Bambi.

Both fighters are keen for a potential rematch.

“For the past two and a half years, this is all that’s consumed my life,” he said. “Tonight I made my own legacy. Molly, this fight was for you and for you, Bambi, I love you.

“I had a dream and a vision that I would win this fight and no one believed me.

"I had pressure on my shoulders and I came through. This to me is a world title fight – I’ve trained so hard for this."

The pro-boxer concluded: "This was my destiny, we did it.”
