Will There Be A Man Vs Bee Season 2?

Will There Be A Man Vs Bee Season 2?

After 9 short episodes, depicting the hilarious battle between a house sitter and a bee, the question is: Will there be a season 2?

The well known comedic actor Rowan Atkinson is back! His new series launched on Netflix on the 24th June, but fans are already asking for more.

After 9 short episodes, depicting the hilarious battle between a house sitter and a bee, the question is: Will there be a season 2?

What Is Man Vs Bee About?

This new Netflix show is first and foremost a physical comedy. Man Vs Bee successfully plays out an extraordinary scenario, presenting what would happen if an out-of-luck, easily irritated human, went to war with a bee.

This slapstick show was created by the fabulous minds of Rowan Atkinson and William Davis.

Both these individuals have great experience in the movie business, with Atkinson himself starring in huge comedies such as Mr. Bean and Johnny English, and Davis co-writing the DreamWorks masterpiece, How To Train Your Dragon

Atkinson plays the central character, a recently divorced father, Trevor Bingley who thinks he has been given a break in life, when he luckily falls into a job house-sitting a millionaire’s mansion.

But little does he know the chaos that will follow. After a persistent bee follows Trevor into the house, all out warfare commences and the comedy really begins.

Will There Be A Second Season Of Man Vs Bee?

The ending of the show opens up the possibility of many more episodes to come.

However, as of yet, neither Netflix or Atkinson have given any confirmation that the show has been renewed for a second season.

After a perfect end to the show, and without spoiling too much, the comedy left viewers on a wonderful cliffhanger. After being released from jail, it looks like Trevor will finally be able to fulfil his daughter's wish of travelling to the Isle of Wight. But who would’ve guessed?

The bee followed Trevor. With full force it has returned and is more than ready to aggravate Trevor to even further extents.

This farcical ending hopefully looks to point towards many more episodes in the future, especially if Atkinson’s previous shows are anything to go off.

Just like Man Vs Bee, Atkinson’s most well known series, Mr. Bean followed a number of very simple storylines across multiple episodes and films.

So there is a strong assumption that this won’t be the last you’ll have seen of Trevor’s epic battle against his arch-nemesis, the bee.
