Oasis warned to 'remain silent' in the US as Trump may seek revenge over previous comments

Oasis have been warned to 'remain silent' ahead of their US tour which kicks off in Chicago later this month.

While it would be objectively hilarious, although perhaps disappointing for those with tickets, if the two brothers simply didn't sing a word for their whole tour of the US, their warning is more political than musical.

After a hugely popular UK reunion tour, Noel and Liam will jet off to the United States and Mexico before returning to London at Wembley at the end of September, with later travel plans taking them to Japan, Australia and Brazil among others.

They've already delivered moments which have been controversial, iconic and everything in between, with one superfan cancelling her ticket due to Liam using a racially offensive slur online, while the local council in Manchester were forced to take action as thousands headed to Gallagher Hill, in the hopes of catching the concert without the golden ticket.

But America is one of the biggest political hotbeds out there and given some of their previous choice words about the 45th and 47th president, the duo have now been warned to keep their mouths shut when it comes to Donald Trump.

Liam, in true no-nonsense fashion, previously referred to the President as a 'd***', while Noel expressed his concerns over Trump's environmental policies, calling them 'pretty f***ing scary.'

And given that the 79-year-old's return to the Oval Office has been filled with controversies such as his crackdown on immigration, tariffs which nearly kickstarted a global trade war and the bombing of Iran, it wouldn't be a surprise to see either brother take aim at Trump during their upcoming gigs.

Prominent entertainment manager Jonathan Shalit said: "My advice to Oasis is simple: stay out of American politics. If they want their U.S. tour to go ahead without disruption, it would be wise to keep quiet on all things Trump."

Little does Jonathan know that this will likely only inspire Liam and Noel to think Whatever and say something that might land them in hot water, but you certainly won't see the Manchester brothers sharing the stage with Trump in the same way that the Chelsea squad did after their Club World Cup success, which left star man Cole Palmer baffled.

Given the president has been left furious by his depiction on South Park, it's pretty obvious that he'd been keen to avoid any further political commentary from a band as influential as Oasis, but when they inevitably do say something, they'll probably just tell the president to Roll With It and to Stop Crying Your Heart Out.
