The final countdown is on, we’re less than an hour away from the big pre-sale and just one night’s sleep off the real battle, general sale.

I’m obviously talking about the millions of us hoping to get tickets for the Oasis tour next summer following Liam and Noel Gallagher confirming their surprising reunion.

And a load of lucky b**tards were able to secure a place in this evening’s (30 August) pre-sale following the fan ballot.

Randomly selected, all of those chosen to have a first chance at tickets were sent special codes and instructions earlier on. However, some Oasis fans have been left devastated after apparently being sent the wrong pre-sale codes.

According to the legendary band, all codes have now been sent to the lucky fans hoping to see them in the likes of Dublin, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Cardiff.

However, some fans hoping to see the Gallaghers take to the stage together in Ireland have taken to X to claim they were given the wrong code.

One wrote: “Wrong codes sent out? Got a UK code and asked for Dublin access.”

As another echoed: “I have UK code and I wanted Dublin ffs what do I do.”

And with the pre-sale set to take place at 7pm, panic is quickly setting in as many are scrambling and complaining: “So I've received an Oasis presale code, but it's for the UK presale. I applied for Dublin, I get the sense that the code is locked to the UK one only?

"Is this a Northern Ireland problem?”

Many are now hoping it’ll just work anyway, despite Dublin obviously not being in the UK.

And plenty are desperately asking if it will ‘still work’ with some fans chipping in they had a similar situation for Taylor Swift tickets but it still worked out.

There were also a handful of fans who had requested UK tickets and ended up with Dublin as one complained: “@oasis you need to check your algorithms. I’m in Bolton, England asked for UK tickets, ended up with a code for DUBLIN. Pretty sure that isn’t in the UK. Can it be used for a UK gig?”

Another slammed: "Got one for Dublin, I wanted UK, surely that code could have done someone in Ireland. No use to me."

As others put: “I got a presale access code for Oasis Dublin shows, will this code work for the UK shows also?”

Well, what a mess, good luck lads, the Oasis ticket battle is about to begin.

LADbible has contacted representatives for the Oasis tour for comment.
