Emotional Noel Gallagher reveals the real reason Oasis got back together

The reunion we never thought would happen is finally underway

Noel Gallagher revealed the reason Oasis were able to finally reform during an emotional second show.

After years of squabbling in the papers and on social media, brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher finally put their differences aside and got the band back together for a string of sellout shows around the world.

And if the first couple of shows at Cardiff's Principality Stadium are anything to go by, then fans of the band appear to be in for a treat.

Despite suggestions that older brother Noel's didn't appear to be too enthusiastic about the reunion, the band appear to be relishing the first Oasis gigs since 2009's V Festival – with one body language expert reassuring fans the pair seem to be 'at peace' with each other.

Last night's (5 June) final date in Wales saw 58-year-old Noel open up on the events which led to the highly anticipated reunion, with the guitarist suggesting that bandmate Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs had a key role in events, per The Mirror.

After returning to the stage for an encore, Noel turned to the Arthurs before telling the crowd: "On guitar, if it wasn't for him, none of this would have happened."

Despite complaints from a small number of fans moaning about the lack of 'banter' between the band members, both brothers did interact with the crowd on numerous occasions.

"Hello people, it’s been too long," Liam told the crowd before launching into 'Morning Glory'.

Later on in the set he then asked fans to turn around and embrace each other for 'Cigarettes and Alcohol', adding: "When the tune starts, jump up and f**king down."

The band even poked fun at the last August's ticketing debacle, which left numerous fans heartbroken and several others furious at the prices which some sites were charging.

There was a touching tribute to Liverpool footballer Diogo Jota on the opening night, following the news that the 28-year-old and his brother had passed away in a car crash earlier this week.

Following the two dates in Cardiff, Oasis will now return to Manchester for a series of homecoming shows at Heaton Park, before heading to London, Edinburgh and Dublin.

After that, the Oasis reunion heads overseas to the US, Canada and Australia.

Lets just hope Liam doesn't find himself spooked by any ghosts while on the road.
