Oasis fan's one-minute hack could help you get tickets ahead of millions of Brits

Getting your hands on tickets to popular gigs and festivals can be a stressful experience to say the least.

And, from unscrupulous resellers to demand-based dynamic pricing causing costs to skyrocket, it's harder than ever to bag them at face value.

This Saturday (31 August) will see the next mad scramble for concert tickets as the general sale for Oasis Live '25 begins across various ticketing platforms.

Earlier this week, the Gallagher brothers announced that they will reunite for a tour of the UK and Ireland in 2025.

The tour will see the legendary Mancunian band come together for 17 shows across Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin.

In a joint statement, they said: "The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised."

With brothers Noel and Liam not playing together since 2009 when the band split following a row, the digital queue for tickets will be massive and the shows are expected to sell out in seconds.

One Oasis fan has shared their top tip for helping you snap up tickets in, apparently, as little as a minute.

The key is to set up your account and billing information on ticket sites ahead of the sale - so that's seetickets.com or ticketmaster.co.uk if you're in the UK and ticketmaster.ie if you're in Ireland.

Then, when you (hopefully) get through to the buying page, you won't have to input your details at checkout.

With every second counting as hundreds of thousands of people rush to get tickets, this could be the difference between seeing Oasis live or getting major FOMO at home.

In a video shared to TikTok, user Cost of Living Crisis Tips said: "With a site like Ticketmaster, you need to register your details, confirm your email and phone number and have your card details registered so you're ready to go."

They also recommended buying whatever tickets you can get your hands on.

"These tickets are going to sell out so fast, you'll be lucky to get any at all," the TikToker said. "I wouldn't be fussy about where the tickets are. If you have an opportunity to buy the tickets - no matter where they are - just buy them. That's exactly what I'm going to try to do."

Oasis has since extended the pre-sale ballot entry, writing on X: "Due to a last minute surge in pre-sale ballot entries, a number of confirmation emails are still being processed and sent out.

"The deadline to confirm your entry has now been extended to 10am BST tomorrow morning (Friday 30 August).

"If successful in the ballot, you will be contacted tomorrow by 5pm BST with pre-sale access information.

"Thank you for your patience."

Where will Oasis tickets be sold?

Fans will be able to buy tickets from 9am on Saturday 31st August from SEE Tickets, Ticketmaster and GIGSANDTOURS. Hospitality packages will also be available via Seat Unique.

Tickets will be limited to four per household, per show. Under 14s will not be allowed and those under 16 will have to be accompanied by an adult.
