Simple 'hack' to unlock Spotify Wrapped 2025 as millions unable to see it

It's that time of year when your guilty pleasure is about to be put on blast

It's that time, LADs, Spotify Wrapped 2025 is here.

But it seems like thousands of users still can't see their round-up yet. Luckily, though, there's a simple 'hack' which might help to unlock your listening data.

While your Instagram Stories might already be backed up with people putting their music choices on blast like it's some sort of brag, you may need to jump through a few hoops first to access yours.

"Where is my Spotify Wrapped?" angered, left-out users wrote on X as they felt tormented seeing everyone else showing off with theirs. "Where is my Spotify Wrapped it's actually not funny," many echoed.

Now, obviously, if it's not showing for you, then the first course of action is to make sure your Spotify app is definitely all up to date.

Then, once you've done that, if it's still not showing up, try taking things old school and heading over to the mobile site on your browser - it's said that you can still access the data on here, but just might not quite be able to get the full experience that the app gives you.

The best hack, though, especially so you can still access it on the platform, seems to be if you try searching 'spotify:datastories:wrapped' into the search bar. Apparently, that should bring it straight up (a couple of the LADs have tried that out and are now about to bore us all with their music choices).

Basically, the hack is just a manual way of accessing your Spotify Wrapped, as really, it should come up as a banner or tile while you're in the app.

Both Apple Music and YouTube released their recaps for users before Spotify, as we all make major realisations over just what we've been listening to this year. I mean, let's be honest, our music taste can say a lot about what kind of moods we've been in.

Spotify's number ones of 2025

Globally, the world's most played artist on Spotify this year was Bad Bunny with over 19.8 billion streams. And yet, he wasn't even in the Top 10 for the UK - unlike Taylor Swift.

The Puerto Rican artist, however, also had the year's biggest album, so he's pretty decently lined up for his halftime show at the Super Bowl next year.

The UK's top song on Spotify was Alex Warren's 'Ordinary', followed by Gracie Abrams' 'That's So True' and Lola Young's 'Messy'.

And as for the top album of 2025 in the UK, it's Sabrina Carpenter with Short 'n' Sweet.
