Netflix have added a new TV series considered to be a masterpiece which fans have called the ‘darkest series ever', however, millions of people will be banned from watching it.
With Netflix set to kick off the final season of Stranger Things next week, many fans will be looking for something to tide themselves over this coming weekend.
Today, November 20, they added a beloved series with 85% on Rotten Tomatoes and 8.3 on IMDb, whose first season received a perfect 100% rating, making it a great option for fans to binge.
The show stars Claire Danes, who herself is also the star of another hit brand new Netflix show The Beast in Me, alongside Damien Lewis and Mandy Patinkin.

Called Homeland, the catch is unfortunately that the series will not be available to watch for millions of viewers, despite being added worldwide.
The TV series follows a CIA operative investigating claims that an American prisoner secretly joined Al-Qaeda, becoming suspicious when a navy marine is rescued after years of captivity.
Why will Homeland be unavailable to watch for millions of Netflix subscribers?

For those hoping to curl up this weekend and watch Homeland on Netflix, you will need to check how much you’re paying for your subscription.
Netflix viewers have complained for a long time now about the newly introduced advertisement tiers to membership, with the cheapest ones now including adverts.
What many are unaware of, however, is that if you’re on the cheapest tier of membership with adverts, some shows are unavailable to you.
Homeland is set to be one of those series which will only be available to Netflix subscribers on an ad-free subscription.
When asked in the past about why this is the case for certain shows, Netflix explained this was due to licensing restrictions.
Why Homeland was called a ‘masterpiece’ as it's added to Netflix
Quentin Tarantino himself called the first season of the show a ‘masterpiece’ and it featured in Variety’s list of the top 100 shows of all time.
One fan on Reddit called it ‘one of the best shows ever’, adding that they struggled to ever find suggested shows that are the same. Another commented, saying: “One of the darkest shows I’ve seen yet it still has a ton of funny moments too.”
The show, which ran for seven seasons, was an international sensation with The Guardian calling it ‘genius’ TV with the show developing a cult fanbase during its run.
Grace Dent reviewing the show for The Guardian called the first season the ‘best thing on TV’, whilst Maureen Ryan said in a review for Huffpost: “An addictive espionage thriller and a compelling character study. Without a doubt, it is one of the finest new shows of the year.”
Claire Danes received particular praise for her leading role on the show, though many have called her new series The Beast in Me her ‘best role since Homeland’.
Homeland is available to stream on Netflix in the UK and US.
