Netflix viewers issue warning over new season of 'insane' true crime series

The new season has absolutely freaked out viewers in just a handful of episodes

If in doubt, whack on a true crime doc. And Netflix has got an absolute s**t load of them to offer.

There’s been plenty added in this year alone, with the recent The Man with 1000 Kids gripping viewers as a UK-based show was labelled an absolute ‘mindf**k’.

And the latest drop is the second season of an ‘insane’ series, which viewers have issued a warning over.

The chilling docu-series first launched back in 2022 and fans were buzzing - if not a little scared - to hear it was coming back.

Having hit Netflix on 26 June, and currently sitting as one of the top shows in the UK, is the new season of Worst Roommate Ever.

While that title might sound like a bit of a teen drama comedy show, the reality couldn’t be further from it.

Instead, the true crime docu-series highlights ‘harrowing tales of seemingly harmless roommates’ who turn into ‘real-life nightmares’ for their unsuspecting victims.

And this living (or live-in) hell comes to light when their ‘malevolent and sometimes violent intentions are revealed’.

All four episodes are each based on a different ‘roommate’ and the real crimes they committed as each story chronicles ‘the masked menace that can be lurking right down the hall’.

Yeah, sounds dark right? Well wait till you learn more about those crimes, like the woman who consistently poisoned her roommate to gain custody of her child.

With viewers having already binged the whole thing on Netflix, plenty have warned that watching it ‘will p**s you off terribly’.

One wrote on X: “I wish people would believe a person is no good the first time they show it!”

Others agreed that watching it made them ‘so mad’ as plenty called the series ‘unhinged’.

And some also warned a slight problem with watching the series as they said: “Enough to put you off ever having a roommate again. I mean ever.”

As someone else echoed: "Worst Roommate Ever is a show that further confirms why I will never do roommates. Idc idc. These ppl are insane."

One freaked out viewer put: “Worst Roommate Ever on Netflix is absolutely insane. Those of you who have roommates please be careful.”

People have been hooked to the new season, calling it ‘insane’ and writing: “Worst Roommate Ever is probably the craziest documentary show I ever watched like wtf.”
