Roman Kemp, the presenter of the much-loved Capital Breakfast Show, has made headlines this week after announcing on air that he has been diagnosed with an obscure sleeping disorder called sleep apnoea.
Kemp claimed that there is really ‘nothing sexy’ about the condition, and said that it could potentially lead to an early retirement from the limelight for him.
Speaking on Capital Breakfast, he said that he wishes more than anything to be on the show for at least a decade, half of which he has already completed, however the crazy early mornings, coupled with his lack of sleep due to his condition, could make that quite the challenge.

Despite his recent diagnosis, Kemp has had a successful television and radio career, inspired by his famously adored parents Martin and Shirley Kemp.
