Dwayne Johnson says he and Vin Diesel have finally ended their long-running feud

Dwayne Johnson says he and Vin Diesel have finally ended their long-running feud

And with that, the former wrestler is getting his own Hobbs spin-off.

The Rock has confirmed that he has finally let go of his longtime feud with Fast & Furious co-star Vin Diesel.

The former wrestler revealed his return to the Fast universe with his very own Hobbs spin-off movie.

In his announcement, the 51-year-old shared there's no longer bad blood between him and Diesel.

“Last summer Vin and I put all the past behind us," he penned via his social media account alongside a video.

"We’ll lead with brotherhood and resolve - and always take care of the franchise, characters & FANS that we love."

In the four-minute clip, the Baywatch star revealed why he would return to the franchise, which according to him, is primarily attributed to resolving the feud.

“Despite us having our differences, me and Vin, you know, we’ve been like brothers for years, and despite having our differences, when you lead with the idea, number one, resolve, but then also you just think about the future, and you think about plans that are much bigger than ourselves and those bigger plans are the bigger build-outs,” he began.

“Those big plans are the North Star, as I always like to say, the North Star is always my guiding light.”

Seems like the actor has dabbled in a bit of eat, pray, love lately.

“So when you add all that up, it’s really not a hard decision,” he added.

In 2016, The Rock revealed that he would be leaving the Fast franchise on Instagram.

In his since-deleted telling post, he said ahead of the release of 2017’s The Fate of The Furious: "My female co-stars are always amazing and I love ’em.

"My male co-stars however are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand-up men and true professionals, while others don’t.

"The ones that don’t are too chicken s**t to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses.

"When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling - you’re right. #ZeroToleranceForCandyAsses."

However, the former wrestler had since apologised for his remarks, describing when he made that post, it ‘wasn’t his best day’.

“I shouldn't have shared that," he said, as per MovieWeb.

"Because at the end of the day, that goes against my DNA. I don't share things like that.

"And I take care of that kind of bulls**t away from the public. They don't need to know that. That's why I say it wasn't my best day."
