It feels like a lifetime ago that Walter White first appeared on our screens for the smash-hit show Breaking Bad.
Regularly ranked as one of the best shows ever, Bryan Cranston was seen like never before as the cancer patient turned drug lord.
Who knew he would be so convincing as a high school chemistry teacher who turns to cooking meth when times get hard.
The show made him and Aaron Paul, who played Jesse Pinkman, into proper Hollywood A-listers.

Back in 2013, an alternate ending for the series was filmed, and even hardcore fans of the series missed it.
Prior to becoming an incredibly scary character at times, Cranston was known better for his much more affable role as Hal in the 2000s Fox comedy, Malcolm in the Middle.

The alternate ending sees two of his characters colliding, in a Cheers-style scenario.
It features Cranston as Hal, waking up to find that the whole Walter White scheme was just a nightmare experienced by the suburban dad.
It was all a dream!
The different ending featured on a DVD of the final season, and one Redditor has only just discovered it.
A terrified Hal wakes up from a dream, drenched in sweat, next to his wife Lois (Jane Kaczmarek).
In the much-loved Hal style, he has a major freak out talking about his 'dream life', and described Jesse Pinkman as a 'kid who always looked like he was wearing his older brothers clothes.'
He even managed to get in one of Jesse's catchphrases: "He would always say and use the b-word!"
Hal would never swear, of course.
When he told his wife that he had 'cooked meth', she laughed and answered: "You? cooking anything?"
After an attempt to seduce Lois failed, he says 'good night Skylar' (the name of Walter White's wife in Breaking Bad) before turning off the light to the Malcolm in the Middle theme.
The camera then zooms in to the now-iconic Walter White hat.
Fans on Reddit have been sharing their thoughts about the ending.
One joked: "Cranston is so good here as the neurotic dad, he makes Walter White look stoic."
Another added: "I initially didn’t watch breaking bad. People recommended it, but I couldn’t take seriously the idea of the guy who played Hal as an ice cold drug dealer.
"People kept recommending it, I decided to give it a try. He fit the persona of Walter white. I still didn’t see him as the drug dealer, though. But when they shifted Cranston to Heisenberg, it was done so masterfully," they raved.
Another delighted fan added: "I love how Hal doesn’t know how to pronounce methamphetamine correctly."
Time to rewatch the series.
