When you're watching the Bushtucker Trials on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! you could be forgiven for directing your attention towards the unfortunate famous folk going through an unpleasant experience for your entertainment.
Nasty food, creepy crawlies and all sorts of physical obstacles stand between the I'm A Celeb camp and getting a decent meal for the day.
However, if you spot what Ant and Dec are doing during the trials they're rarely directing their gaze towards what's meant to be going on in the trial.

If you've been wondering why that's the case then wonder no more because the presenters explained why they appear to be staring at the floor whenever there's a Bushtucker Trial on.
During a time when they were fielding fan questions about I'm A Celeb, this is one of the more popular requests which came up as viewers wanted to know what they got to see of the trials.
"Good question," Ant said of the request to know more, and he gave a comprehensive answer.
"We're not looking at the floor, if there's, if they've got to put their hands in something or if they're underground or whatever, we have to look at a TV screen, with a little monitor down there.

"So that's what we're looking at. But they hide it behind grass and leaves.
"So it just looks, just looking at the floor like, well done. That's one meal for camp. I never thought about that before. Why didn't anyone bring it up?"
Just as we the viewers get to see what the cameras do during the trials, so too do Ant and Dec whenever they've got some details to pick out.

It makes plenty of sense, from their vantage point they can't always see what's going on so they might as well make use of the many, many cameras I'm A Celeb has rigged up to capture every angle.

Having cameras all over the place helps the show spot when some rule breaking might be going on, as plenty of celebrities have tried to smuggle contraband into the jungle over the years.
Dungay Creek, where they film I'm A Celeb is rigged up with enough cameras to fill a studio so they can capture everything going on from pretty much any angle they wish.
It's a private piece of land so they can set things up how they like, and that includes stashing a secret screen in the bushes so Ant and Dec can properly see what's going on during a Bushtucker Trial.
I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! is available to watch daily at 9pm on ITV1 & ITVX.
