After fans of Big Brother were caught trying to send messages to housemates from the outside world via tennis balls, details about the BB house have been released.
On Friday 2 October, TV show execs were forced to make major changes to the TV house we all know and love, as well as to security for the remainder of the show when pranksters bat tennis balls into the garden.
However, it is understood that it won’t be structural.
Fans of the show have been watching the Big Brother house for decades, with it first appearing on our teles back in 2000.

Ever since then, there hasn’t been much change in its layout, as the home’s sprawling communal areas are where you see the majority of the cast at once.
But you might not have known that it’s not a ‘house’ at all, and that it’s actually a set designed within a warehouse.

ITV ‘s famous home has been apparently put online for all to see, but you’re now seeing it in a way that feels wrong. It’s like looking into the Sun for too long.
Revealed by an X user, the pictures show two parts of the BB house.
There’s the inside – which encapsulates the kitchen, bedrooms, Diary Room and the task rooms, and more.
Then there’s the other side, which is the outdoor garden, which isn’t like any garden you’ve likely seen before.
Instead of being an open area where the cast can lounge, the BB garden instead is a very small layout with what looks like an open-top dome of set walls and structures surrounding it.
The inside of the ‘house’ also appears to be set walls and what looks to be metal containers with corridors linking each part to the other, but hosted within a huge warehouse.
It’s actually a little bit jarring to see, and people in the comments agree with that feeling.
One person wrote in response to seeing the pictures online: “Amazing how the camera makes everything look bigger.”
Someone else said: “So the walls are fake, the garden's fake, but the drama is 100% real. Makes sense.”
Another wrote: “That actually is insane. Why don’t they add more variety to the house then every year? They could literally have any shape they want.”
The Big Brother house, which is held within Titan Studios in London after moving ahead of its 2025 series, per reports, also has had what looks like blueprints leaked on X, showing off the designs for inside of the main house.
This gives you a little idea of what executives were thinking when putting rooms together.
Such as how the open-plan living room and kitchen also has the garden attached to it, and corridors leading to the bathroom and diary room.
Then there are the task rooms, which are led off in the opposite direction, and linked by little walkways.
It’s really cool to see the inside of the house, when usually, we only get to look at what cameras allow us to.
To be fair, though, what we’ve seen so far has been pretty entertaining.
For example, there has been major drama including a row over comments Rochelle made to quadruple amputee Charlotte as well as Jedward being ‘booted out’ of the house as tensions rose in the hot tub.
Then there was the case of Big Brother housemates putting their detective hats on to figure out who had an accident on the toilet floor.
