How much Louis Walsh will get paid if he quits Celebrity Big Brother now amid Jedward controversy

How much Louis Walsh will get paid if he quits Celebrity Big Brother now amid Jedward controversy

He sparked a war of words with the pop duo after calling them 'vile' on the show

Former X Factor judge Louis Walsh is said to be a 'flight risk' following the departure of his pal Sharon Osbourne after her eight-day stint in the Celebrity Big Brother house.

And it's left people wondering how much he'll get paid if he quits.

It's safe to say the 71-year-old's antics have made shockwaves since he entered the Celebrity Big Brother house on 4 March.

But, with insiders claiming that the music mogul made it clear he'd only sign up for the show if Osbourne also made an appearance, some fear he is now poised to make an early exit.

They said: "Louis would only go into the show with Sharon booked in there with him. CBB pulled out all the stops to make it happen.

"They know Louis is a flight risk now Sharon is gone and no one would be surprised if he left.

"Without Sharon he will be lost as they have such a close friendship in the house.

"Everyone is on high alert for Louis to throw in the towel, but he’s making such good television, the producers are praying that he will stay."

ITV declined to comment when contacted by LADbible.

And Walsh truly has nothing to lose by dipping out early, with the same source revealing that he'd 'still receive his full fee.'

Another source revealed that this will be around £250,000, around half of what Osbourne is said to have made for her stint in the CBB house.

Regardless of whether he stays or goes, Walsh — who managed boybands Boyzone and Westlife — has caused quite the stir during his time on the show.

At one point, he called former client Ronan Keating a 'p****', but it was his take down of Irish pop act Jedward that has set things spiralling.

Walsh sparked a war of words with the twins after he labelled them 'vile.'

The 32-year-old duo then hit back, calling their former manager a 'cold-hearted b******."

Jedward were enjoying their evening eating dinner and spending time in a hot tub alongside celeb pal Gemma Collins when the episode aired on Tuesday (12 March.)

The twins angrily responded: "Louis Walsh is a cold-hearted b****** who didn’t even send us flowers when our mom died.

"Louis Walsh bullied and talked about us to our best friend Tara Reid and then we fired him!"

They continued: "Girls Aloud hate Louis!

"Jedward hate Louis!

"Ronan Keating hates Louis!

"All future acts should be made aware of what this VILE man is really like."
