Reality TV star Charlotte Crosby has claimed there's a rule in place for Celebrity Traitors which means she can't go on the show.
The celebrity version of the popular BBC show ended up being a resounding success, drawing in huge audiences to enjoy Alan Carr somehow winning despite not being able to say he was Faithful without bursting out laughing.
The Traitors is a TV juggernaut at the minute, so it's unlikely they're shy of celebrity contestants who'd be willing to sign up, but 35-year-old Crosby has claimed that door isn't open for her because of a rule about reality TV stars.
Crosby rose to fame on Geordie Shore, but it sounds like she won't be heading up to Scotland to murder and banish other famous faces in a castle.

That's because she told The Sun there was a rule in place which meant Celebrity Traitors didn't recruit from among the ranks of reality TV, though she hasn't ruled out the situation changing in the future, at which point she'll be waiting by the phone.

"I'm A Celebrity used to have this rule. But it gets to the point where they’ve obviously run out of big names so they have to start delving into reality," the Geordie Shore star claimed.
"So they’ll have this rule for maybe three or four series and then they might have to break the mould a bit. As soon as they do, I will be there with my f**king cloak."
Crosby has been on Celebrity Big Brother and I'm A Celeb in the past, so she's no stranger to going on TV with a bunch of other famous faces and having the results filmed for entertainment.
However, given the popularity of the format and the fun many of the participants seem to have had on the show, it looks like Celebrity Traitors might be the holy grail.
It's coming back for a second series and there's been plenty of speculation about who might make it onto the roster.

Of course, this is just what Crosby has said about not being able to go on the show. When approached by LADbible about this supposed secret rule, the BBC declined to comment.
If Crosby wants to be on The Traitors, there are other editions of the show which lean heavily enough on reality TV stars, including ones from the UK.
The American version of the show is practically bursting with reality stars, including ones who made it famous on this side of the pond (such as Love Island UK stars Maura Higgins and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu), so if she doesn't want to wait for the queue for Celebrity Traitors to get a bit shorter, she could always try getting on that one.
Meanwhile, a verified rule in the Traitors castle is that the contestants aren't supposed to know what time it is.
Nick Mohammed said there were no clocks in the castle as they 'weren’t even allowed to know the time', and whenever they asked they'd just be told 'it's Traitors time'.
