Donald Trump’s reaction to controversial South Park episode 'revealed’ by White House official

The episode didn't paint the President in the best light

Donald Trump's reaction to the controversial South Park episode has been revealed by a White House official.

For those of you who aren't fans of the long-running animated comedy, or have somehow managed to avoid the aftermath of the season 27 opener, Trump was shown in a particularly bad light by the TV show's creators.

After being handed a staggering budget to put together the latest season, Trey Parker and Matt Stone spared no expense as they critiqued the 79-year-old's return to the Oval Office, first focusing on his controversial trade tariffs.

However, it soon became very silly, as he was depicted in bed with the Devil, where Trump attempted to seduce Satan but was unsuccessful, with the giant red being pointing out that the president's penis was 'so small that he couldn't even see it'.

Trump then says: "Come on Satan, you know you can't resist this!" before standing up to show his genitals - which in true South Park style, aren't blurred.

The creators weren't particularly genuine in their 'apology' to the 79-year-old, and the episode clearly had the desired effect as it's seemingly left Trump and his supporters fuming.

One administration official told Deadline that the President was 'seething over the childish attack by South Park', while the White House even put out an official statement.

“This show hasn’t been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention,” White House Assistant Press Secretary Taylor Rogers said.

"The Left’s hypocrisy truly has no end — for years they have come after South Park for what they labeled as ‘offense’ [sic] content, but suddenly they are praising the show.

"Just like the creators of South Park, the Left has no authentic or original content, which is why their popularity continues to hit record lows."

While the creators have already shocked social media by revealing the behind-the-scenes shots of the episode, which reveal that they used a body double for the president and a prosthetic finger-like penis, it seems as if their mockery of Trump won't end there.

A trailer for the next instalment of the series shows Trump groping Satan's leg under the table, in an episode which is due to be released on 6 August.

It's certainly worked out for South Park so far, given that this premiere was the biggest they've had since 1999, and the show has gone mega-viral with its attempts to mock the most powerful man in the US.

The riches that come from that success may well be needed in the almost inevitable lawsuit, should they continue to target Trump.
