One of the camp mates from the new all-star season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! has spoken out about rumours of a camp feud ahead of the first episode of the pre-recorded show releasing.
I’m A Celebrity South Africa season two sees some iconic camp mates from previous seasons return for another season of the show.
Amongst the biggest names to return are Gemma Collins, David Hayes, Harry Redknapp, Mo Farah, and Jimmy Bullard, however it’s former show winner Scarlett Moffatt.
Moffatt quit Gogglebox back in 2016 to appear on the series, ending up winning the whole thing in a move that vindicated her gamble and set up her current career as a TV presenter and radio host.

Now though she has spoken out after rumours that this year’s camp was far less harmonious than viewers have come to know in the last couple of seasons of the main series.
Moffatt said that unsolicited ‘lad banter’ was the source of tensions in the camp
Speaking on a media roundtable (via The Standard) she compared her time in the jungle in South Africa to the regular Australia-filmed version of the series, saying: “Because we’ve all done it, I was like ‘oh, this is going to be a doddle’
“It was a lot more intense, it was hardcore. It wasn’t as harmonious as the first time I went in, only because I think we were all such big characters.”

She went on to explain, saying: “I think a lot of it is this thing with like – and I’m going to put it in quotes here like ‘lad banter’. But banter is only banter if it’s with like consenting adults if everyone participating wants to participate in the banter.
“I think sometimes some people didn’t want to be involved but were even though they didn’t want to be.”
Moffatt’s quotes appear to confirm ongoing reports of a major feud between Adam Thomas and Jimmy Bullard
Moffatt appears to have made one thing crystal clear: this season looks set to be a fiery one compared to the last two seasons where there has been minimal drama.
The TV presenter’s comments hint towards one of the biggest plot points fans can expect in the upcoming season of I’m A Celeb.
Early reports have stated there is a fiery confrontation between ex-footballer Jimmy Bullard and soap TV star Adam Thomas.

Thomas has admitted the new season is ‘tougher’ and the Daily Mail claim the feud between them led to Thomas yelling at Bullard.
Reports go as far as to state that the pair are having to be convinced to come back for the series’ live final.
Thomas admitted at the show’s launch day event: “It was completely different compared to the last series that I did, it was so much tougher. So it was tough, there’s no denying that. And I feel like I had my moments in there, like we all did. But I’m glad that I did it.”
Meet the I’m A Celebrity South Africa campmates
Adam Thomas

The 37-year-old actor placed third in 2016, behind Joel Dommett and Queen of the Jungle Scarlett Moffatt.
Nicknamed ‘Mr Bushtucker Trial’, Thomas impressively completed 12 trials during his time on the show - this was in part thanks to his brothers, fellow actor Ryan and Love Island star Scott, encouraging the public to vote for him every time.
Ashley Roberts

The Pussycat Doll star, 44, was the runner-up of the 12th series in 2012, pipped to the post by EastEnders actor Charlie Brooks.
Her time on the show transformed her into a household name in the UK, and she’s since become a permanent fixture on British TV and radio.
Scarlett Moffatt

2016’s winner is back for another crack at jungle life.
The Gogglebox star-turned-TV presenter, 35, won over the public with her down-to-earth persona and heartwarming ‘father-daughter’ relationship with actor Larry Lamb.
David Haye

The former professional boxer was the ‘last man standing’ in the 2012 series, bagging the bronze medal position.
Haye, 45, even had his own ‘Mylee Class moment’, albeit more X-rated, as he often bared all in the jungle waterfall.
Beverley Callard

The Coronation Street legend, 69, was part of the first series that took place at the historic Gwrych Castle in Wales during the Covid pandemic in 2020.
She formed an unlikely friendship with DJ Jordan North, with the pair eventually landing a TV show together.
Callard ultimately came in tenth place.
Harry Redknapp

From never having seen an episode of I’m A Celeb to being crowned King of the Jungle in 2018, Harry Redknapp’s jungle journey was certainly one to remember.
The former football manager and player, 79, captured the nation’s hearts during his series, often speaking of his love for his wife Sandra and ‘jam roly-poly’.
Seann Walsh

The comedian was a late arrival in 2022, memorably entering the jungle alongside controversial politician Matt Hancock.
The 40-year-old ended up finishing in fifth place.
Sinitta

Pop star Sinitta, 62, was unforgettably terrified during her stint on I’m A Celeb in 2011. Perhaps to her delight, Sinitta was the second celebrity to be voted out.
Sir Mo Farah

The Olympic legend, 43, came in fifth when he took part in the Welsh castle series in 2020.
Viewers got to see the man behind the gold medals and fell in love with Sir Mo Farah’s hilarious ‘clumsy dad’ persona.
Gemma Collins

The GC’s time on I’m A Celeb famously lasted just three days before quitting in 2014.
Collins has since spoken out about her struggles with mental health after her public exit from the show, stating that she had been assaulted by an ex-boyfriend the night before flying into the jungle. Now she is bravely returning to she show, saying that leaving early was the 'one regret' she had in life.
Craig Charles

In 2014, Craig Charles’ jungle experience was cut short after his brother, Dean, tragically passed away.
The 61-year-old exited the show on day four, leaving a lasting impression on his campmates and the British public.
Jimmy Bullard

Perhaps one of the biggest surprises in I’m A Celeb history, Jimmy Bullard ended up getting voted out first in 2014, despite initially being a favourite to win.
The former footballer was a big character in camp, though some thought his ‘banter’ with X-Factor star Jake Quickenden went ‘too far’.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here All Stars season two debuts tonight on ITV 1 at 9pm.
