Netflix has cancelled a fresh batch of beloved TV shows, and viewers have taken to social media to air their grievances.
Earlier this month, leaders of the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists announced that the longest film and television actor strike was ‘tentatively’ over.
The news that actors could go back to work followed the months-long Writers Guild of America strike coming to an end in September.

Amid the announcement, Hollywood streamers and broadcasters are continuing to assess the impact left by the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes.
Netflix is one of the giants possibly impacted by the separate hiatuses and has recently put five beloved shows on the chopping block.
The first show the streaming service has cancelled is Agent Elvis, which starred Johnny Knoxville as Bobby Ray and Priscilla Presley as herself.
The ten-episode animated adult comedy unfortunately only ran for one season, and currently has 62 percent on the Rotten Tomatoes Tomatometer.
Another one-series special that the streamer has cancelled is Farzaar. The latter is an animated science-fiction offering created by Waco O’Guin and Roger Black.
The third adult cartoon series Netflix has said farewell to is Captain Fall - a story about a ‘goofy, gullible sea captain’ who becomes a fall guy for an illicit smuggling operation.
However, it isn’t just animations that have had their second season cut, as Kim Cattrall and Miss Benny’s Glamorous has tragically been axed, too.
The bingeable comedy-drama unfortunately hasn’t made the cut as the streaming service confirmed its Netflix Original series will not be back for another go.
However, arguably the most shocking of the five cancellations is the news that Shadow and Bone is not getting renewed by Netflix for a third series.
The fantasy show, based on the Grishaverse book series by Leigh Bardugo, followed Alina Starkov and her motley crew of magic wielders as they attempted to save their country from the Shadow Fold.
Following the news that the series - alongside its planned Six of Crows spin-off - had been cancelled, the author took to Instagram to share her dismay.
Bardugo wrote: “I'm heartbroken and deeply disappointed, but I'm also trying to hold onto my very real gratitude. Most authors never get to see their work adapted/ Many who do end up regretting the experience.
"I'm one of the lucky few who can look at an adaptation with pride and tremendous joy.
“I am so grateful to our writers, our crew, and our extraordinary cast who are not just wildly talented, but genuinely good people.”
Following the Shadow and Bone cancellation news on November 15, fans of the show have taken to social media to discuss the end of the Grishaverse.
One X user said: “Do not, for any reason, ever fall in love with a Netflix TV show. They kill them at the first chance they have.”
“Netflix cancelling yet another show only to go on and make the next braindead thing in hopes for it to become the next Squid Game or Wednesday.
“It's not about quality anymore and only about going viral,” speculated a second.
Another commented: “Trying to pretend that Shadow and Bone’s cancellation has anything to do with the strikes instead of Netflix yet again doing what Netflix always does is honestly offensive.”
“Shadow and Bone and Six of Crows have good representation. queer characters, characters of colour, disabled characters. This story means so much and Netflix chose to not continue it,” replied a fourth.
