Some people are leaving scathing reviews for the trailer of a new show featuring characters from Peep Show.
Yep, David Mitchell and Robert Webb are finally back.
And while most people are thrilled about them returning with their first sketch show for more than a decade, there’s still those spoil sports who like to be a downer.

Comedy’s subjective people, that’s kind of the whole point.
Mitchell and Webb are a certified funny duo to many anyway, having of course starred as Mark and Jeremy in Peep Show as well having their TV sketch shows That Mitchell and Webb Sound and That Mitchell and Webb Look.
It was announced earlier this year that the pair would be running things back with their new six-part series for Channel 4, titled Mitchell and Webb Are Not Helping.

The cast was confirmed as Taskmaster stars Kiell Smith Bynoe and Stevie Martin as well as fellow comedians Lara Ricote and Krystal Evans.

And a sneak peek of the series released last night (1 August) featured Mitchell and Webb alongside Martin and Ricote in an airport security sketch.
It features Mitchell and Ricote getting rather conflicting instructions from the other two as security staff, as they load up their belongings for the scanners.
I mean, it’s not always necessarily the most relaxing, soothing experience to go through UK’s airport security bays and not all the staff can be particularly friendly.
And this sketch seems to capture that feeling pretty well, with the shouting and repeating of instructions but also the confusion over who does and doesn’t need to whip their shoes off.
Mitchell is all sweaty and flustered, adding to the perfect awkwardness of the whole thing as Ricote is just baffled by Martin smashing up her watch.

But fans are pretty divided as while some ‘can’t wait’ for the show to air, others find it ‘unfunny’.
“That is terrifyingly accurate,” one quipped on Twitter as another echoed: “Almost too accurate for comfort.”

Though it’s not everyone’s cup of tea as a user asked: “Is there time to reshoot this so it’s funny?”
“I've been to funerals for close family members that were funnier than this,” a second added.

And a third slammed: “When does the comedy bit start?”
On the announcement of the series, Mitchell and Webb said: “When Channel 4 asked us to do another sketch show we were startled, bemused and available.
"It’s a perilous time for the industry and so it’s our hope that relaunching the trickiest genre of comedy is a brilliant piece of counterintuitive commissioning.”
