The Traitors season four has all but solidified the BBC show as one of the greatest UK TV series ever made.
Between the ‘secret traitor’, the secret connections between the cast being revealed, and the already iconic blow-out between Rachel and Fiona, season four has been a huge hit with viewers so far.
This has led to huge viewership figures, with the BBC show averaging 7.3 million viewers on last night’s episode.
Whilst we’ve already had the reveal of a mother and daughter, a secret relationship, and a secret traitor, many believe there is an even bigger conspiracy at play.

The theory suggests that not only are there secret connections in the castle we don’t yet know about, but that ‘everyone’ in the castle is connected in some way, something Hugo the Traitor even stated the cast themselves discussed.

Fuel was added to the fire surrounding this when fans recently noticed that, on Uncloaked, there is a second envelope in addition to the one revealing the Traitors, which has yet to be read out on air.
Many believe this is the extra secret connections we have yet to see, and some eagle-eyed sleuths think they've figured out another detail which makes this theory even more interesting.
One fan said they had become ‘slightly’ obsessed with the new season’s family tree.

This shows the entire cast as a family tree, with the inscription in Latin: “Beware whom you trust as your own blood. The sharpest knives are often handed over the table by trusted servants.
“Among close friends lurk the most hidden enemies. Beware lest your trust become the cause of your ruin and destruction.”
The superfan, however, didn’t notice something about the words, but about the logos on the actual family tree.

They said they ‘have noticed that some people have little Vs cut out of the end of their names scrolls, and others don't’.

This may seem a bit far-fetched until you read the list of people whose names have this little V cut out at the end, which includes:
- Netty
- Judy
- Roxy
- Ellie
- Ross
- Rachel
- Faraz
- Reece
- Matthew
- Hugo
- Jack
- Ben
This list is made up of everyone who has any connection we’ve found out so far, with Netty and Ellie both linked to Ross, as well as Roxy and Judy being mother and daughter.
Of the others remaining, everyone on the list is either a traitor, has been on a murder shortlist produced by Fiona, or has gone in the first few episodes.
The theory suggests that Matthew is somehow related to Rachel, with even more people on the list possibly connected to one another.

Paul Gorton, a fairly high-profile traitor himself in the past, backed this, claiming that he thinks ‘everyone is connected’.
He said in an interview with The Mirror: "I think everyone is connected - either friendship or family. Everyone."
