Jonah Hill has had his weight go up and down so much the fella's pretty much a fuckin' yo-yo now, but good on him, having a hobby is good.

You probably remember when the 34-year-old broke onto the movie scene.

He had fleeting appearances in 40-Year-Old Virgin and Click, before having a more prevalent role in Knocked Up and starring in Superbad.

The latter shot him into to stardom and everyone became accustomed to his comedy, though there was a particular physical feature people noticed. It wouldn't be rude of anyone to point out that Jonah was a bit portly in Superbad, but since then he's had a lot of appearance changes.

The actor recently joined Instagram, where you can be sure he'll upload plenty of middle-of-the-road - good pictures, most of them promoting upcoming ventures.

His first post shows him filming his feature-length directorial debut, Mid 90's, but there was something else that caught the eye of his followers.

People noticed Hill's biceps, which, by any stretch of the imagination, aren't going to blow anyone away in a body building contest; but for a geezer who was once the token fat guy, they're pretty impressive.

In the past Jonah has put his weight loss down to inspiration from his 21 Jump Street co-star Channing Tatum.

Tatum, once upon a time, was that cheesy rom-com, heartthrob type and had the annoyingly chiseled body to go with it. Because of that, Hill rang him up to ask for advice, to which he got a very frank and straight-to-the-point reply.

"I wanted to get in better shape, so I called Channing Tatum and said, 'Hey, if I ate less and go to a trainer, will I get in better shape?'." Hill said during an interview on The Tonight Show. "Yes, you dumb motherfucker, of course you will. It's the simplest thing in the entire world."

Hats off to Jonah. It takes a lot of effort to lose weight once. To do it about 14 times is fucking ridiculous.
