New research conducted by Pureprofile for Amazon Australia found that 90% of respondents said they wear their work clothes in public places, including shopping malls, gyms, and even pubs.

The online retail giant has expanded its workwear range with the launch of a new store, offering over 500 ready-to-wear items from top brands such as Hard Yakka, Caterpillar, Bad Workwear, and Timberland.

“We know that many Australians, both professional tradespeople and DIY enthusiasts, rely heavily on their workwear,” said Rocio Jalil, GM of Fashion at Amazon Australia. “That’s why we’re excited to offer a wider selection of options.”

“Our research shows that value for money is the most important factor for tradespeople when choosing workwear, even if they also want to make a statement while out and about,” Jalil added.

The store offers many workwear selections for both men and women, and the range is also eligible for Prime shipping options, meaning fast and free delivery in as little as one day for Prime members.

Customers who haven’t tried Prime can unlock a 30-day free trial. Prime membership is $9.99 per month or $79 for a year and can be cancelled at any time.
