Last chance for LEGO fans to build iconic Home Alone house complete with booby traps as set could retire this December
LEGO fans, this could be your final chance to get your hands on the Home Alone set with rumours it's set to retire by December, 2026.
Inspired by the iconic 90s film franchise, the LEGO kit enables fans to build the McCallister's house - and no detail has been forgotten.
Filled with hidden references to the hit John Hughes movie, there's everything from Kevin's treehouse zipwire and Nero's pizza boxes to the hot iron that slaps Marv in the face.
It's fully functional too, with swinging paint cans, a basement furnace that lights up and even a lever to push Kevin down the stairs on his sledge.

Other novelty touches worth mentioning include a fake spider, collapsable shelves and everything you need to stage Kevin's emergency 'Christmas party'.
The 3,957-piece set comes with five minifigures too: Kevin McCallister, his mum, Kate McCallister, crooks Harry and Marv and neighbour ‘Old Man’ Marley.

Plus, you'll find Harry and Marv's van included, complete with crowbars and police hats.
An immersive experience in the countdown to Christmas, the kit's LEGO bricks are split into 24 bags and the building order follows the film's plot.
In fact, some fans say they display their finished house every Christmas as part of their annual festive decorations.
"This LEGO set is so cool," one five-star review reads. "We are all big fans of the movie and watch it every year around Christmas.

"The details that are in this kit are unbelievable, from the Little Nero's pizza and the furnace in the basement to the falling shelves in Buzz's room. We got a light kit, too. This is our favourite set that we have built."
"I did this as an ‘Advent’ project. 24 bags - it had to be!" another customer raved. "I giggled like a schoolgirl at every point of recognition from the film.
"The little details like the spider and the cardboard cutout to the plane ticket in the bin! I thoroughly enjoyed this build and sharing it with others - who waited in anticipation every day."
A third added: "The set is awesome point blank. It has many, many, MANY hidden details and awesome Easter eggs in this set. It’s an absolute must for anybody who is a fan of the movie and will look great set up in your home around the holidays."
Some fans have even purchased LEGO light kits to make their build even more festive in time for the holiday season.
