Married swingers reveal the one down side to sharing partners with other people

A married couple have revealed what they have labelled the one downside to the swinging lifestyle that they invest so much of their lives in to.

Swinging might seem like a fun idea to some people. Go to new places, meet groups of new people - and, well, sleep with them all.

While the lifestyle might not work for many, there are plenty out there who like the idea. But, as entertaining as the idea might seem, it turns out there are some unexpected downsides to swinging that might put you off.

Unless you've been living under a rock, the chances are you've heard of swinging.

But, in case you haven't a clue what swinging is about, here it is in a nutshell - it basically involves groups of people (usually couples) who exchange sexual partners for sex, while keeping their primary relationship in-tact. Yeah, one's hard enough as it is!

Social media creators Bella and Jase recently took to their joint TikTok - where they regularly document their lives swinging, including on spicy cruises - to share what they consider the downside of the lifestyle to be, and it's not what you would expect.

While I would personally expect that jealousy and other forms of emotion to be the biggest issue, it turns out, as is often the case, money is the issue.

In the video, when asked what one of the downsides to swinging is, Bella says: "I think what a lot of people don't know is, that it's super expensive to be in this type of lifestyle."

She goes on to explain that not only do you need to pay for membership to clubs, but you also need to pay for door fees, drinks, and of course hotels - all of which adds up quickly.

In some cases, some couples even book swinging holidays, which of course makes the price skyrocket.

Of course, if you want people to engage in that kind of adult activity with you, there's also the cost of outfits, staying groomed, and generally looking appealing to others which needs to be factored in too, according to the TikTok star.

Bella and Jase aren't new to the swinging scene, and have been offering both seasoned and newcomers to the lifestyle some handy tips.

Just recently the couple shared what it's like in one of the infamous playrooms on an adults only cruise, showcasing what to expect.

Their 4ourplaypodcast account offers tons of advice, such as what to do if you're shy, as well as what boundaries to expect when swinging.

The video sparked some confusion though, with some viewers wondering why swingers don't simply get together with some friends, and cut the costs by swinging at home.
