Dating can be a real struggle right now for everyone in the world, and there's often an assumption that the better looking you are, the easier it is.
However, Veronika Vovk, a Ukrainian model living in Belgium, has claimed that she's 'too hot to find love', and that her looks are only serving as a 'barrier' to finding love.
Considering that a lot of dating is done online these days, which can give you too many options to choose from, it's easy to see why so many are close to giving up when it comes to finding the partner of their dreams.
But the 21-year-old doesn't even use dating apps and hopes to meet people organically, suggesting that a lot of men are simply 'too shy' to approach her.

Veronika, who is now living in Antwerp, Belgium, after fleeing Kyiv, Ukraine, in 2022, said: "I find it hard to date.
"Men only see me as a model and not as a person, it's definitely been a barrier for me finding my ideal boyfriend.
"I don't want someone to date me just because it's some sort of alpha male status symbol to bag a model.
"They're the sort of guys who are brave enough to approach me and ask me out, but that's not the kind of guy I'm looking for.
"I'm looking forward to having a relationship with a good guy who's attentive, kind, independent and takes me on fun dates."

Unfortunately, those types of guys seem to be a rarity these days, especially in a world where a worrying amount of young men are influenced by things such as the manosphere, many of whom talk a big talk online but are too afraid to talk to women in real life.
And that's another thing which Veronika thinks she's noticed, even living in Belgium where young men have chocolate shops and florists on every corner, so there's never an excuse to turn up to a date empty-handed.
She added:"Sadly my experience has been that this kind of bloke is too shy to shoot their shot and ask me out, so I've yet to find my dream man.
"It's hard to find a boyfriend when I'm working because I spend a lot of time on set.
"I don't use dating apps, I much rather prefer to meet people in person organically."

The war between Ukraine and Russia also led Veronika to completely uproot her life, which had made her feel 'guilty' about pursuing her own modelling career.
She concluded: ""You can be standing on a beautiful set, working with a luxury brand or travelling somewhere incredibly beautiful, while knowing that people you love are living through a war back home."
Well, if dating apps aren't an option and men aren't ever approaching, you can always try pretending to be confused in a fantasy football forum, or I believe joining a run or book club is what most people recommend these days.
