Woman, 22, goes from making £9-an-hour to £55k-per-month with no qualifications
Nearly everyone in the UK right now seems to be sick of working a 9-5 and wondering how on earth they're ever going to pay the bills or afford a house.
Gone are the days where a university degree and a job will guarantee you a good standard of living, and it's no surprise that many are seeking out different ways of making their money.
Those who didn't go to university at all often seem to have a head start in various industries while thousands are now making their own living online, whether that be as a content creator or working in a freelance capacity.
However, another huge market for people is the online purchase and sale of clothes, which is how one 22-year-old woman ended up transforming her life.

Madi Donohue was working a 9-5 job as a carer for people with special needs, earning just £9 an hour and struggling to make ends meet.
But in December 2022, she handed in her notice with no real plan of what to do next, but discovered the business idea of reselling clothes after making a quick profit on a pair of Nike trainers.
She said: “Reselling has given me so much freedom.
“I was having to call in sick a lot in my old job, which I never wanted to do, and now I don’t have to worry about that.
“It’s given me the chance to have the best quality of life I can have.
“Tilt is so good because you can sell five things in 10 minutes, unlike places like eBay where you have to wait days for things to sell.
“I think I’ve had so much success because I’ve taken things slow and steady and not pushed myself.
“Some people get really money hungry and rush into things, which can end up being costly, whereas I’m laid back and go with the flow.”
After doubling her money on Vinted with the 'ugly' trainers, Madi, from Essex, quickly found a knack for re-selling, and switched over the Tilt app where she earned £800 in her first month and later £5,400 in her second.
Now she rakes in an estimated £55,000 per month thanks to her online sales, which range from £15 Stone Island badges to £2,000 jackets, which has even allowed her to pay someone to pack up the parcels for her.
Although it's hard work sending around 200 parcels per week and hosting live streams with over 1000 in a loyal online audience, Madi has been able to completely turn her life around after struggling with her chronic pain during her previous job.
After starting out by scouring local charity shops and markets for her clothes, she now has her own Stone Island supplier, while her livestreams also bring in a huge amount.
Her products appear on the screen one at a time, alongside a brief countdown, and at the end of the countdown, the person who has placed the highest bid takes home the item.
She is now in complete control of her own life and finances, and made a massive £513,000 between November 2025 and June 2026.
