See, it's not a waste of time.

If you're one of the many people who managed to get hold of Pokémon Go before its official release today, then you're probably feeling a bit smug about your collection. But, whatever you've caught, these lads have done much better.

Seth Ortega and Janvier Soch, two former Marines, were out collecting in the Fullerton area of Orange County in California on Tuesday, when they saw a frightened woman and her three children running away from a man who was holding a fake rose.

They went over to the man, who they say appeared fidgety, and told them he was looking for a homeless shelter or a cigarette, and they told him to stop bothering people in the park. The man didn't leave, so they carried on watching from a distance and saw the man approach another woman, and this time he sneakily wiped his hand across one of her son's chests.

They followed him to a playground, where they saw him grabbing one of the boy's feet and moving his hand up his leg, the Huffington Post reports.

Seth said: "At this point, I'm running across the street and a gentleman who was walking down the street does the same thing."

The little boys ran back to their mum who called the police. They stayed with the man until the police arrived and they arrested him on suspicion of child annoyance.

Police later discovered that the man, Jacob Kells, had a warrant out for his arrest, his charges included attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon and assaulting a peace officer.

Makes my Charmander find look a bit shit now, doesn't it?
