​People Are Disgusted By Viral Clip Of Dog Licking Its Owners’ Pizza

A video of a very adorable pooch licking his owners' pizza while they sprinkle cheese from above has gone viral after dividing social media users.

Most pet owners will know what it's like to succumb to the puppy-dog eyes of their four-legged friends, finding themselves sneaking a bit of chicken under the table or letting them finish off their sandwich.

But not everyone thinks sharing is caring, it seems.

Moose is a Miniature Australian Shepherd who has his very own Instagram page, where he has more than 23,000 followers.

His owners, Mariah Mainelis and her boyfriend Mike, like to document Moose's adventures (and misadventures), posting photos and videos of him doing everything from hanging out at the beach to getting stuck in the toilet.

Shortly after Moose's first birthday last month, Mariah and Mike shared a video of their doghelping himself to their dinner before it was ready to go into the oven.

"Haters will say gross," the caption read.

In the clip, Moose can be seen licking the top of a pizza with joy, only stopping when Mariah calls him to stop - which is when he turns his attention to the cheese she's sprinkling from above instead.

In the comments section, Mariah explained that she and her boyfriend ate the pizza, and hadn't been shared with anyone else.

"This was for my boyfriend and I to eat only," she said.

"Clearly we wouldn't serve it to guests."

When someone asked if they ate the pizza after, Mariah: "Sure did."

Many people commented to express their disgust, with one Instagrammer writing: "Like how sick can you be?"

Another said: "You not even tryna push his head away."

A third added: "This is the problem with this world now y'all too comfortable with them pets."

The clip also went viral on Twitter, where Moose's owners received more backlash - including a post from one person who said: "This is why Thanos snapped his fingers; to get rid of this bs."

However, others could relate to the video, with some dog owners admitting they often let their pets do the same.

Someone else told people to 'get over it', saying it was just a few bites of cheese, while another said they thought it was 'cute'.

Hey, as long as Moose is happy, I'm happy.
