Video footage has emerged that shows the exact moment a bullfighter wished that he had chosen a slightly different career. In case you haven't already figured, he got gored up the arse by a gigantic angry bull.
The unfortunate - or not, depending on your stance on the whole thing - bullfighter in question was French matador Juan Leal.
Leal appears to have made the crucial error of turning his back on the angered beast at the wrong time. The punishment for that? A huge horn right up his jacksie.
When he suffered his injury, the matador was taking part in day 12 - yes, they have at least 12 days of this - of the San Isidro bullfighting festival at Las Ventas bullring in Madrid.
That's a lot of bulls to be killing, but also - depending on your perspective - a lot of bullfighter's arses to potentially get gored.
We all show out to events to see different things, don't we?
The 26-year-old Frenchman took the business end of the bull's horn straight into his backside and was lifted clean off his feet and swung around on the end of it.
To be fair, it's hard to feel too much sympathy given that it is his actual job to enter a ring with a crazed bull that has been stabbed up a couple of times.
The crowd seemed to be on his side though. Screams and gasps can be heard throughout as he is thrown about like a rag doll.
Eventually, two men rush into the ring to attempt to help him out. They managed to distract the bull before it could get a second go at the now injured Leal.
Given the size of the thing and the state of the matador, that could have been all the chance that it would have needed.
Anyway, like every daredevil, Leal knew the risks before he got into the ring. He could be seen at the end of the video hobbling off looking like he felt pretty sorry for himself.
Interestingly enough, Leal was a pizza delivery man before he entered the world of professional animal cruelty. That's a career move, you'd have to give him that.
We can't be too sure of the severity of Leal's injuries, but local media said that he had to receive medical treatment.
Well, you'd think so, wouldn't you?
We can be pretty sure what happened to the bull at the end of all this, as well.
