Mum Records Baby Saying 'Alright Bruv' As His Very First Words

Mum Records Baby Saying 'Alright Bruv' As His Very First Words

The adorable nine-month old has since gone viral

A baby’s very first words are an important milestone for any parent; usually it’s a close-run thing between ‘mama’ and ‘dada’, but one mum has caught her baby’s slightly more unusual first words on camera: ‘alright bruv’. Check it out:

Nine-month old Bode was happily babbling while his doting parents Carmen Bish, 22, and Keiren Parsons, 26, looked on.

Seemingly sensing that his first words could be imminent, Carmen whipped out her phone and started recording, managing to capture his first words on film - and aren’t we all glad she did?

Carmen, from Kent, said: “Bode, Keiren and I were just chilling together. He was on his changing table chatting away so I got my camera out and filmed him.

“We didn’t even notice at first! We were showing my parents the video and I thought I heard him say something, so I played it again and we all burst out laughing.

“I can’t believe his first words were ‘alright bruv’!”

Clearly Bode likes to mix things up a bit.

After showing the funny clip to some family members, Carmen was urged to share it online, where it’s since gone viral.

She added: “I literally made a TikTok account Saturday morning, posted it and then deleted the app.

"On Monday, Keiren went into work as usual and his work colleagues mentioned that the video has about 50k views.

“He came home and told me, so I decided to download the app again. By the time I’d checked it was up to one million views!"

Posting the clip, Carmen wrote: “I waited eight months for his first words to be, ‘alright bruv’.”

Fellow TikTok users loved the hilarious clip with one person commented: “Most of these don’t make sense, like the parent makes it up because they kind of heard it… but this one is accurate AF.”

Another joked: “He didn’t choose the roadman life, roadman life chose him.”

While a third added: “Get him a man bag and a puffer jacket.”

Someone else quipped: “Tell me you’re British without telling me you’re British.”

I wonder what the little fella will say next, eh?
