A woman whose father is a cannibal has explained why she still loves him after he ate her step mother.
In 2010, Isakin Drabbad gained the nickname 'The Skara Cannibal' after murdering his girlfriend, Helle Christensen, and eating parts of her body.
After being convicted of murder, the Swedish man was committed to a mental health institution in 2011. Though in 2020, he was transferred to outpatient care and given an apartment in Katrineholm.
His daughter, Jamie-Lee Arrow, has since described what it was like to grow up with her father, explaining how visiting her dad's home was like 'stepping into a horror movie'.

Arrow explained that when Drabbad first met Christensen, they were happy together, but their relationship became extremely toxic and ultimately, ended in Drabbad taking her life.

Speaking to This Morning, Arrow explained that she first heard about Christensen's death from her mother.
After hearing her step mother had died, she said: "My first reaction was, 'was it dad?' And she said 'yeah'."
It was only when she saw the word 'cannibal' in the newspapers that she fully understood the horror of what had happened.
"It didn't make sense to me," she explained. "I didn't find out the full story until my dad told me myself."
She explained further to LADbible Stories that Christensen had told her that her father was going to kill her.

"The last time I met Helle, she had cooked me food and as she served the food, she said, 'enjoy your meal, cause this is the last time I'll ever cook for you because Isakin is going to kill me'.
"I was so scared at that point. And she said it like she really, really meant it. And she wasn't even upset about it," she recalled.
"She was, said it, like, in a calm, direct way. And I just went, 'No, don't say that. Don't say that. It's not true. Stop it'. And she said like, 'Yeah, it's true. I'm not gonna lie to you'."
Following the horrific events, Arrow has explained why she is still able to love her father.
"I think it's impossible to stop loving a parent," she said.
"I wanna give my kids everything that I never had. I wanna give them safety and unconditional love. I never want them to be introduced to any kind of darkness.
"My kids came here as love and light and as love and light, they will go."
She added to This Morning: "I believe it's pretty much impossible to stop loving your parents.
"And I know that now, he could do whatever in the world and I would keep loving him, but that doesn't mean he can be a part of my life, and that doesn't mean I agree with anything that he's doing."
