Danny Dyer advised to get testicles drained due to health condition

The EastEnders star gave some very clear descriptions of the condition he lives with

Ready to learn about Danny Dyer's testicles?

I admit, that's not a sentence I thought I'd be writing today, but being willing to learn about them might just come in handy if you're ever struggling in that area.

The EastEnders star decided to open up about everything going on below the belt during an appearance on Kathy Burke's podcast When There’s A Will There’s A Wake, where he explained that he has a condition known as hydrocele.

The condition causes a type of swelling in the scrotum, and happens when fluid collects in a thin sac surrounding the testicle.

Hydroceles usually go away with time, but Dyer has been struggling with it for years, as he said: "I’ve already had an ultrascan on it back in the day, and it’s worrying me, it’s a f**king big bullock."

If that wasn't enough of a mental image for you, he then likened his d*ck and balls to a 'f*****g slug on an apple’.

Lovely.

Discussing how he's been living with the condition, Dyer continued: "It’s a hydrocele, you’re born with it. So when I started puberty, my bollocks started f**king getting bigger."

The actor had an ultrasound conducted on his balls - which he admitted was 'weird' - and was told that if he wants to treat the hydrocele, he'd have to have cosmetic surgery to remove the liquid.

"Obviously I’m very attached to it, cause it’s attached to me," he said.

"But on some days, you look down and it does look like a little human head with wispy hair on the top. It’s just something I do feel I probably should f**king get it done."

Hyrdroceles aren't typically isn't painful or harmful, and they don't always need treatment, but Mayo Clinic advises that 'it's important to see a health care provider if the scrotum looks swollen'.

Though that was the more graphic aspect of Dyer's interview with Bates, it wasn't the last time he mentioned his balls during the chat.

They also came up when he discussed his daughter, Dani, and her involvement in Love Island in 2018.

The dad explained: "I never watched Love Island before and the first one I f**king watched, my kid was in it.

"I didn’t want her to do it, we had a little row over it because she wanted to be an actor and I was going, 'Babe, listen, f**king hell,' and then off she went.

"I sat back and watched it, me and my Mrs, sobbing me heart out every night. I’m very emotional man, a very sensitive soul.

"So watching her, she was unbelievable in it. She couldn’t put a foot wrong, she won it from day two. It makes me proud that she come out of my bollocks, Kath."

So there you have it. Dyer's testicles might look like a 'slug on an apple', but they produce some good kids.
