A cheeky UberEats delivery driver was caught on camera dipping into the meal he was supposed to be dropping off while he waited for the unsuspecting customer to get to the door.
The UberEats employee was busted after heading to the customer's address and ringing the doorbell, then having a peek in the bag before pinching a chip.
The video was filmed by a friend of Hot Breakfast radio host Eddie McGuire, who then told listeners he suspects delivery driver often left his meals 'feeling a little light'.
The worker was caught in the act in Melbourne last week, leaving his victim so amused that he contacted McGuire to share the footage with all.
On the program McGuire said: "This has been a bit of a common occurrence at my place where sometimes the Uber [Eats] comes in and you go 'it's a bit light'."
In the video, there is a clear view of the security camera which shows the driver chomping on a chip right in front of the customers door.
The driver did manage to snaffle the chip undetected though, as the customer comes to collect their meal only moments later.
McGuire's co-host Will Anderson sided with the delivery man, stating the 'poor guy' wasn't paid very well and 'if you can't get a tip, you've gotta get a chip'.
The incident went viral online with many people on social media calling out for the UberEats employee to be fired, and other people said it served the customer right for 'being lazy' - burn.
Some people on social media thought the driver deserved to sneak the odd chip, as UberEats employees weren't paid much and are rarely tipped by customers.
In a statement to Daily Mail Australia, an UberEats spokesperson said: "We know how important food safety is, and we ask delivery partners to take great care during the delivery process to ensure the quality of meals they deliver for restaurants reflect the restaurant's standards.
"Delivery partners using UberEats are expected to comply with the Uber Eats community guidelines which explain they can lose access to the app for tampering with orders.
"We encourage users of the app to contact us with any concerns or issues they may be having and we will work to resolve these with them."
