McDonald's has released its Christmas menu for 2021, which includes some exciting newcomers for us to try over the festive period.

However, they come at a price. A price in the form of the Chicken Legend which is being removed from the menu.

Temporarily removed, don't worry. All Chicken Legend variants (Cool Mayo, BBQ and Hot & Spicy Mayo) will disappear from the menu from 17 November, which is when the Christmas items will be available.

The Chicken Legend will be back and, according to McDonald's, you'll only be without it until January when the range will be back.

As well as the Chicken Legend there's a number of other things being replaced including the Double Big Mac, Mozzarella Dippers and Crunchy McFlurry.

But now for the good news, there will be two new Christmas burgers which will be packed with festive flavours.

There will be a Festive Crispy Chicken burger which involves cranberry sauce, sage and onion mayo, bacon, red onion, lettuce and cheddar cheese all on a poppy and sesame seed bun.

Customers will also be able to get a Festive Stack which consists of two beef patties with a red onion relish, white cheese sauce, bacon, crispy onions, red onion, lettuce, cheddar cheese in a glazed brioche style bun.

Replacing Mozzarella Dippers is the Cheese Melt Dippers. The little drops of camembert will be served with a tangy tomato dip and, what's better, you can opt for the Sharebox version.

Another festive addition is the Celebrations McFlurry with clusters of Maltesers, Galaxy chocolate drops, Caramel pieces, Mars chewy nuggets and Twix biscuits. That will all be topped with milk chocolate sauce.

McDonald's will also be selling the Festive Pie which is a classic hot crispy pie filled with mincemeat and custard.

ON TOP OF THAT, there will be two new members of the McCafe menu including the Chocolate Fudge Latte as well as the Hot Chocolate Deluxe. They are already available.
