The Island Boys Reveal The Bizarre Way They Style Their Hair

The Island Boys Reveal The Bizarre Way They Style Their Hair

The Island Boys appeared on Logan Paul's Impaulsive podcast and revealed they create their signature look using a common household item.

The Island Boys don’t skimp when it comes to their looks. They’re always flashing the bling, designer threads and grills. But one thing we didn’t expect them to say was that they style their hair themselves using a common household item.

Appearing on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, the twins were asked how they get their hair to stay standing up like it does. Their hair is their signature look, so we’d expect them to be spending lots of time and money on it. But in actual fact, their unique style is down to something typically associated with grandma’s - a crochet hook.

Co-host Mike Majlak then jokingly asked if they were able to get a TV signal through their hair, to which they laughed and played along.

They also said that lots of people had the same hairstyle at the school they went to.

This came before Franky and Alex stormed off the set after a heated discussion with Impaulsive co-host George Janko. Logan Paul asked them what they would do if their music career didn’t work out for them and George tried offering friendly advice to the twins, which turned sour. They said they “don’t need financial advice.”

The Island Boys are thought to be worth a combined total of $100,000 in 2021. They’ve recently released their first official music video and have turned down record deals because they said on TikTok that they’re doing well enough without one.

The Island Boys are also on Cameo and charge £444 for a business booking and £144 for a private booking. Somebody recently thought this was money well spent when they hired the Island Boys on Cameo to quit their job for them.

Franky and Alex - aka Kodiyakredd and Flyysoulja - are 20-year-old fraternal twins from South Florida. Their parents are originally from Cuba, which is what inspired their song ‘I’m an Island Boy.’
