Food challenges are the best because they always show how far humans are willing to go to prove themselves right (or horribly wrong).

Whether it's slurping down ramen at incredible rates or devouring a few schnitties until you're about to burst, they're always impressive.

But one Aussie pub is upping the ante with its food challenge and it is genuinely making us sweat by just looking at it.

The Nindigully Pub in Thallon, Queensland is doing a mammoth burger that includes a 1.2kg meat pattie, a bun that weighs a kilogram itself, a whole head of lettuce and vegetables.

If that wasn't enough, the meal also comes surround by a kilogram of chips.

The challenge will set you back $80, but imagine the glory that will come if you manage to complete it.

People have been absolutely blown away by the meal, with one person writing: "I have seen a few people try it, no hope. Good to share between four people and wash down with 10 schooners of Gully Gold."

Another added: "I put on 2kg just looking at it."

A third said: "Probably could but wouldn't as I think it's disgusting to overindulge that much food when there are people out there who don't eat for a good week if not more."

Some even pointed out that it's not even the biggest meal that the pub sells. I know what you're think: how the hell could it get any bigger? Well, it can.

On their website, they show off their incredible 'Road Train' burgers, which are meant to be split between a few people and it is overwhelmingly large.

At least four people have to sign up for it and the pub has to be informed a day in advance if they want to order it.

After looking at a photo of the bad boy it's not hard to see why.

If you're looking for a way to really expand your stomach and push yourself well past the point of normalcy then head to Thallon.
