A German bloke has completely shed his past to become a politician and campaign for a better world in his eyes.

Philipp Tanzer used to be a gay porn star under the name Logan McCree and made quite a name for himself.

He was crowned Mr Leather in 2004 and took home a bunch of awards related to his work in the adult film industry, including Best Actor and Gay Performer of the Year.

Despite doing numerous films for audiences around the world, he's pulled a big 180.

In 2011, he moved to Scotland, got himself a girlfriend and revealed he was instead bisexual and no longer gay.

He's now launching a bid to become a politician with the far-right Scottish Family Party for the 2021 Scottish Parliamentary Elections.

The party has policies like 'supporting families', 'reforming education' and 'valuing life'.

It appears Tanzer is a big supporter of their campaign, despite them being a little negative towards the life he formally lived.

The Scottish Family Party has been working at ridding society of 'identity politics', and they 'oppose the LGBT Inclusive Education programme that mandates the indoctrination of schoolchildren into a radical ideology of sexuality'.

They're also against the teaching of gender fluidity in schools because they reckon it leads to 'confusion and unhelpful experimentation'.

But not only has Tanzer joined the party that is fighting against LGBT rights and rules, the political candidate is concerned about another harmful aspect of society: porn.

"I had a negative view of the pornographic industry even before I joined it, but I needed the money," Mr Tanzer said, according to the Daily Mail.

"In one year I lost five friends in the industry to suicide and drug overdoses. I have seen the harm porn addiction can do. Not all my experiences with it have been negative though - I met some wonderful people.

"One of the main reasons to run for the Scottish Family Party has been my experience and helping people learn from it.

"Porn is not a men's problem. Both boys and girls consume pornography and both suffer under its impact.

"When I was younger I was not clear what path I would take. I was pushed into identifying myself as something at the age of 32 that I was not. The Scottish Family Party best represent my views on life and society."

Tanzer was also a fireman and claimed to be a men's right activist. He once claimed in a BBC documentary that he was being silenced, despite being given around 24 minutes to express his views.

He also doesn't believe statistics that state women are, on average, more likely to be a victims of domestic violence than men.
