If you've ever looked at your fish bobbing around in their tank and thought they deserve to see the world around them, then you'll be cheering.

A new invention is set to turn this wish into a reality and will let you take your marine friend for a short walk.

Japanese corporation MA Corporation has unveiled the funky new product that is essentially a portable fish tank.

According to News Corp, the Katsugyo bag is meant to let people show off their expensive market-bought fish as they take it home.

But if you have a goldfish named Gary and you want him to see life outside his fish tank then you can do that as well.

Thousands of people are already following the bag's official Instagram account as it gears up to be released into the market.

It's reported to have passed initial tests and is expected to drop soon.

The portable fish tank has a long, transparent tube where your fishy mate gets to cruise and it comes with a gauge that monitors the oxygen levels inside.

The company writes (translated from Japanese): "It is divided into two units of the body, and when you put in fish, you can remove the aquarium, store the fish, then connect it to the main body and turn on the power.

"You can carry the fish, so it is relatively easy to use. Oxygen supply and water temperature maintenance are possible."

The invention isn't meant to keep the fish happy, so a long walk all over the city isn't ideal, but the tank is more designed to keep the creature alive from the time it leaves the market until you get it home.

It's certainly not made for lengthy day trips or visits to the beach.

It's unclear how much this bad boy will set you back in terms of cost but you can't really put a price on swagger.
