TikTok’s M&S Romford Boys Release Charity Christmas Song

TikTok’s M&S Romford Boys Release Charity Christmas Song

The song was written and sung by one of the store's colleagues.

TikTok’s sensational M&S Romford Boys have released a Christmas song to raise money for charity and it’s proving hugely popular.

Their Christmas music video has racked up nearly 5,000 likes in the first 24 hours of being online and it’s hoped it’ll become the number one Christmas song this year, which would mean knocking Ed Sheeran and Elton John down the charts.

The song, which is of course titled: ‘This Is Not Just A Christmas Song,’ was written and sung by store colleague Jack Brooker.

M&S Romford have partnered with TikTok to raise money for two charities from the song: Shelter and Together for Short Lives.

You can watch the video below.

“The whole store is buzzing about the song and video and we are so excited that we can use the focus on our TikTok videos to raise money for good causes,” said the song’s creator Jack.

“2021 has been an incredible year for us, who would have thought that the videos we were making would lead to us launching a Christmas song!

“A couple of weeks ago we even turned on the Romford Christmas lights! Our customers are so excited for us too, they can’t stop talking to us about it in store!”

During the pandemic, M&S said 600 of its local stores made TikTok accounts as a way of communicating with customers about availability of essential items and sharing other advice during lockdown. Collectively, all M&S TikTok accounts now get more than three-million views a week, with many of them evolving into a way of having a laugh and some fun with customers and colleagues alike.

“Petition to make this the official M&S Christmas advert,” one TikTok user commented on the video.

“We’re ready for this to be no. 1,” said another fan.

The song is available to stream on TikTok, Spotify and Apple Music.
