To mark the launch of summer, McDonald's is adding a host of new items to their menu, including mouth-watering halloumi fries.

The new summer menu will come soon to golden arches near you in two separate waves across June and July.

Not only will you soon be able to feast on halloumi fries at your local Maccies, but the new menu also includes four different burgers, and a brand new McFlurry flavour.

Starting off on Wednesday 8 June, the Taste of Italy summer menu will land in McDonald's.

As part of the Taste of Italy menu, two new burgers will be available in stores across the UK; the Italian Stack, and the Crispy Chicken Italiano.

While the Italian Stack consists of two delectable beef patties, topped with crispy onions, mozzarella cheese, tomato sauce, crunchy lettuce, toasted tomato and a rich cheesy sauce on a warm herb bun, the Crispy Chicken Italiano is made up of a crispy chicken fillet on a ciabatta style bun with basil pesto sauce, mozzarella, tomato, red onion, and lettuce.

To accompany your Italian-style burger, the fan-favourite mozzarella dippers will be back once more as the go-to side order.

And finally, a tiramisu-flavoured McFlurry will be available as a sweet treat to wash it all down.

That will surely be enough excitement to tied Maccies fans over until 27 July, when the Taste of Spain and Cyprus menu hits restaurants across the UK.

The menu will consist of two additional two burgers, a delicious cheesy side dish, and a refreshing citrus soft drink.

When the Taste of Spain and Cyprus menu takes over, the Spicy Spanish Stack burger and the Chicken Fiesta will be the main crowd-pleasers.

The Spicy Spanish Stack will consist of two beef patties on a paprika bun, topped off with a spicy tomato sauce, red onion, lettuce, and chilli cheddar.

Meanwhile, the Chicken Fiesta has a crispy chicken fillet on a paprika bun, accompanied by Chorizo, chilli cheddar, spicy tomato sauce, red onion, and lettuce.

Joining the two glorious burgers is a cheesy halloumi fries side order. Each serving will include four soft halloumi sticks lightly coated in batter, served with a rich tomato sauce.

And to top it all off, the Taste of Spain and Cyprus menu will include a new Spanish Fruit Punch - a bold, refreshing berry and citrus flavoured soft drink.

To make room for these exciting new menu items, some products will sadly be dropped from the McDonald's catalogue.

From 8 June, the Grand Big Mac and McSpicy chicken burger, and Flake McFlurry will no longer be available, so get in to say your goodbyes while you can.
